Life skill leash manners and walking training
2 x 1-hour private training Leash life skills training focuses on helping your dog walk calmly, safely and politely in everyday environments. This is not just about stopping pulling — it is about teaching your dog how to stay connected with you, make better choices, and manage distractions during walks. This training may include: → Heel walking — teaching your dog to walk beside you when needed → Stopping leash pulling — helping your dog understand how to walk without tension on the lead → Heel with distractions — practising calm walking around people, dogs, traffic, smells and busy environments → Loose leash walking — building relaxed, enjoyable walks without constant pulling → Waiting for permission before greeting — teaching your dog not to rush towards people or other dogs → Street walking skills — practising safe walking near roads, crossings, pavements, traffic and everyday city distractions The aim is to make walks more enjoyable, controlled and less stressful for both you and your dog. Using force-free, reward-based methods, your dog learns that staying close, checking in and walking calmly are rewarding choices.

Advanced Leash Manners
(Off-leash)
3 x 1-hour private training Off-leash life skills training focuses on building reliable communication, focus and safety when your dog has more freedom. The goal is not only to let your dog run freely, but to help them stay connected with you, respond around distractions, and make safer choices in real-life environments. This training may include: → Off-leash recall — teaching your dog to come back reliably when called → Off-leash heel — helping your dog walk close beside you without the lead when needed → Front position — teaching your dog to run back from a distance and sit in front of you or beside you → Impulse control — helping your dog pause, think and respond instead of rushing towards distractions → Heel with distractions — practising focus around dogs, people, smells and movement → Wait for permission before greeting — teaching your dog not to run up to people or other dogs without permission → Street walking awareness — building safer behaviour around pavements, roads, crossings and busy environments Off-leash training requires a strong foundation in focus, recall, impulse control and owner connection. Using force-free, reward-based methods, your dog learns that staying engaged with you and responding to cues leads to freedom, fun and positive outcomes.

Training Results & Expectations
Every dog learns at a different pace, and progress depends on factors such as age, breed, temperament, previous experience and consistency between sessions.
Booking a set number of sessions does not guarantee that your dog will be fully trained or a behaviour completely resolved within that time. Regular practice at home is essential for long-term progress.
No Fear. No Force. No Shortcuts.
I do not use pain, fear or intimidation to create quick-looking results.
My training focuses on teaching dogs what we want them to do, building understanding and developing skills that owners can continue to reinforce in everyday life.
I will never prioritise a dramatic short-term result over your dog's welfare or long-term learning.
