Life skills & Obedience
4 x 1-hour private training Life skills manners training focuses on teaching your dog the everyday behaviours that make home life, walks and public situations calmer and easier. These are not just “commands” — they are practical skills that help your dog understand what to do, manage excitement, and make better choices in daily life. This training may include: → Focus and attention — helping your dog learn to check in with you and respond around distractions → Sit & Down — building basic positions that support calmness, control and communication → Place — teaching your dog to settle on a bed, mat or specific area when needed → Stay & Wait — helping your dog pause, hold position and practise patience → Leave it & Drop it — teaching safer choices around food, objects, toys or things they should not pick up Using force-free, reward-based methods, your dog learns these skills in a positive and clear way. The aim is to create a calmer, more responsive dog who can cope better with everyday situations and understand what is expected from them.

Included in the training

Include: → Loose leash walking — teaching your dog to walk without constant tension on the lead → Heel position — helping your dog walk beside you when closer control is needed → Stopping leash pulling — building better leash manners and reducing frustration during walks → Basic recall — teaching your dog to come back when called in safe, controlled environments Using force-free, reward-based methods, your dog learns that staying connected with you, walking calmly and responding to cues are positive and rewarding choices. The goal is to create more relaxed, safer and more enjoyable walks.

Training Results & Expectations
Every dog learns at a different pace, and progress depends on factors such as age, breed, temperament, previous experience and consistency between sessions.
Booking a set number of sessions does not guarantee that your dog will be fully trained or a behaviour completely resolved within that time. Regular practice at home is essential for long-term progress.
No Fear. No Force. No Shortcuts.
I do not use pain, fear or intimidation to create quick-looking results.
My training focuses on teaching dogs what we want them to do, building understanding and developing skills that owners can continue to reinforce in everyday life.
I will never prioritise a dramatic short-term result over your dog's welfare or long-term learning.
